The National Centre for Craft & Design (NCCD) is delighted to announce a series of free printmaking Street Fashion schools workshops taking place this May, which are perfect for the whole class to get involved in!

Running alongside our Roof Gallery exhibition Street Fashion by Dave Bramston, schools are invited to take part in a series of free printmaking workshops run by the designer at NCCD. Participants will be able to create a fabric print using recycled objects which will then be made into a garment and form part of a community fashion show held on Friday 15 June, 4-5pm at NCCD which schools are invited to attend.

The workshop:

Each workshop is for up to 25 students and will be held at NCCD

Two workshop sessions are available daily: 10 – 11.45am / 12.15 - 2pm

Participants will be split into two groups when they arrive. One group (max 13) will have a short tour of the NCCD with a focus on the Roof Gallery exhibition Street Fashion. One group (max 12) will print fabric with Dave Bramston and a team of designers. The groups will then swap over!

This is a free offer to all schools with all materials and equipment provided; they are suitable
