In celebration of our new exhibition, Circus: Politics, Performance and Pop Culture, we've teamed up with Aircraft Circus in London and are offering the opportunity to win a 'Sunday Circus Taster Experience' for two people at their brand new, state of the art Circus Training Space launching in June! 

Aircraft Circus is one of London's leading Circus Schools who have been training young people, adults and professionals in circus arts for over 10 years. Whatever your ability, they believe you have the potential to shine! Find out more about Aircraft Circus.

How to enter! 

This is a prize draw so all you have to do is email info@nccd.org.uk with your name, email address and agree to be added to our respective mailing lists (The National Centre for Craft & Design, artsNK and Aircraft Circus) to receive news and updates from us via email*. You can unsubscribe at any time. 

Entries must be received by midnight on 08 Jul 2018.

Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

The prize draw is promoted by The National Centre for Craft & Design, artsNK and Aircraft Circus. The promoting organisations decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The Prize offered is as follows:

A Sunday Circus Taster Experience for two people at Aircraft Circus in London which can be any of the standard sessions worth £35 per person (listed here https://aircraftcircus.com/collections/circus-taster-classes). A gift card of the value £70 will be issued to the winner. 

The prize can be redeemed any time from 10 July till 10 October 2018. The Sunday Taster Experience will take place in the brand new and upgraded circus space at Aircraft Circus and the prize is offered in celebration of the exhibition at The National Centre for Craft & Design in collaboration with artsNK. Circus: Performers, Politics and Pop Culture (28 Apr – 08 Jul 2018)   

  • No purchase is required
  • This is a prize draw, not a competition, and you have the chance to win the stated prize by entering yourself in the draw as directed (by providing your name and email address). By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions.
  • The prize draw is open to people aged 18+ and only one entry per person will be accepted. The prize draw is not open to employees from any of the promoting organisations.
  • The prize draw closing date is midnight on 08 JuL 2018. The prize draw will be undertaken by the stated date (9 Jul 2018 – after which no further entries will be accepted) and winners will be informed within 28 days. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
  • The winner will be selected randomly using the anonymised industry-recognised www.random.org service. You will not be contacted by www.random.org
  • Cash equivalents are not offered and the prize is not transferable
  • Winners will be required to cover travel and any other expenses incurred to take advantage of this prize.
  • Health and Safety: Aircraft Circus make every effort to make their classes and training as safe as possible, however, Circus and Aerial Skills do carry an element of risk. Proper warm-up and warm-down proceedures are recommended and after every class (self or instructor led). If, with an instructor, you must inform them if you have any previous injuries or strains which may affect your ability to take part in the proposed activity or training. If you are unsure of your skill level in order to take advantage of this prize, please ask for advice from the Aircraft Circus team. The National Centre for Craft & Design is not liable for any injury or incident in relation to the taking up of this prize. However, Aircraft Circus, who are awarding the Prize hold full Public Liability Insurance in the event of incident.
  • The winners agree to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [UK] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party.
