This project is about telling stories through taxonomies. In the context of this task, a taxonomy is a collection or category of objects that have a relationship with each other due to their appearance, function or by a system that you define.

The idea behind this project is that once you begin to see the world through categories you can begin to draw yourself through objects.

When you sign up you will be given links and the password to this online content.

The video will talk you through some of the ways of thinking about how to approach the project to get the best results from it.

This is not a workshop as such but a project that will be set for you to work on at your leisure. When you sign up, you will be given a link to an online video setting out the theme and giving suggestions as to how you might approach the project.

Once you have completed the tasks you will be able to arrange a 1:1 tutorial with Martyn via Zoom to discuss the results and how to develop them further.

This project can be used to help create a piece to submit to the NCCD Art Club, theme 4 - What’s your daily medicine?
