Arts Council England Launch COVID-19 Emergency Fund

In response to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Arts Council England (ACE) have re-purposed all of their funding streams, totaling £160 million, in order to support individuals and organisations working in the cultural sector.

The emergency fund has been broken down into three categories, with £90 million dedicated to supporting National Portfolio Organisations, £50 million for organisations that do not receive regular ACE funding and £20 million for artists, creative practitioners and freelancers.

Applications for the fund for non-NPOs and individuals will take place in two rounds, with the first round of applications opening on Thu 9 Apr with a deadline for applying of 12noon, Thu 16 Apr.
